These new skiers are typically eager to learn quickly but struggle with controlling turns and speed. Equipment might include shorter, easier-to-maneuver skis and softer / more comfort specific ski boot.

Skiers that have moved beyond the basics and feel more comfortable on the slopes making strong parallel turns with solid edge control. These skiers are exploring more of the mountain and ski the majority of the runs at most resorts, but still improving their skills to take on the hardest runs with confidence. The majority of intermediate skiers can adjust and manage their speed while adjusting to a variety of terrain and snow conditions.
