We Won’t Weight up.

Zero G 96

When confidence matters as much as enjoyment -- Blizzard's all new ZeroG 96 is designed to provide a stable and predictable experience. From remote couloirs deep in the mountains to early-morning uphill laps, its innovative wood construction sets a new standard in performance, security and accessibility in your next touring ski. We won't weight up.

Trueblend Tour Woodcore

Perfect Balanced Flex
Trueblend is Blizzard’s foundational woodcore technology which allows us to specifically design every model and size for the target customer. We select specific woods, characterized by different densities, blending and positioning them to form woodcores that are designed to optimize the flex of and deliver a smooth and balanced feeling. This technology also allows Blizzard to build skis that pack a tremendous amount of performance but that are not hard to ski.

Accessible Performance.

Engineered for balance, the Trueblend Tour Woodcore 2.0 combines lightweight paulownia with stronger poplar in a precise ratio to achieve smooth skiability and reliable strength. By using less carbon in the construction, but with more poplar in the core, we deliver a ski that’s versatile, playful, and confident in every turn. The blend provides flex where it matters most: strength underfoot for stability and softer tips and tails for effortless turn initiation and enhanced terrain adaptability.

Zero G Construction

At the core of our touring ski is a meticulously engineered woodcore, optimized to balance lightweight performance with stability and durability. The surrounding construction is specifically designed for touring, enhancing the woodcore’s properties to provide the ideal blend of uphill efficiency and downhill control. This ensures the best possible experience for ski mountaineers and backcountry enthusiasts, no matter the terrain or conditions.

Zero G Construction

Blizzard had been playing with new materials and construction concepts for over 75 years. Our touring skis express what this endless engineering process leads to. Combining an update version of our Carbon Drive approach with the craftiest of Trueblend Tour woodcores, and we are able to make touring skis that are not just light-weight -- but the righ-weight. Making light skis is important, but finding the ideal weight to ensure both up and downhill performance is more important. The introduction of our touring specific Trueblend woodcore was the key to finding this sweet spot.

Designed specifically for women, the Zero G women’s construction prioritizes ease and control.

W2W Zero G Construction

Dynamic Control, Seamless Turns

Precision meets versatility with the 5 Radius Sidecut. This innovative design divides the ski into zones with varying radii, creating a unique balance of edge grip, control, and flow. A straighter center radius enhances confidence on steep and icy terrain, while smoother transitions toward the tip and tail provide seamless turns and adaptability in all snow conditions. Perfect for technical ascents and dynamic descents alike.

Ash Wood Insert

Wood is good. For exceptional strength and smoother control, the Zero G introduces an ash wood insert in the core.
Strategically placed underfoot, this material provides torsional rigidity and power transmission where you need it most—without the nervousness of carbon. Ash ensures stability for even the most demanding conditions, while maintaining a playful feel for every adventure."
