The Pyrox Hybrid is a door-to-trail running shoe designed for training and daily sessions on a wide range of terrains. It is equipped with Impulso4D, an innovative, patent-pending midsole trail running technology developed by Tecnica to adapt the shoe to your unique running style. The shoe is also equipped with supercritical EVA and Pebax® foams, an Ortholite® footbed, and a gravel-design outsole.

FOUR DIMENSION ADAPTABILITY

Tecnica's R&D team considered the full spectrum of the forces developed in the midsole during a run and how the forces change over time during the footstep. The result is Impulso4D, a midsole that warps to dump and release those forces, adapting to your kinematics, ensuring smooth running flow, forgiving cushioning, and adaptability to various terrains.

DOOR-TO-TRAIL COMFORT

The bottom material of the dual-component midsole of the Pyrox Hybrid is soft and long-lasting supercritical Pebax®, which adapts to terrains through horizontal deformation. In direct contact with the foot, the upper part is made of comfortable supercritical EVA, which offers stability and 20% more shock absorption than standard EVA.

ANATOMICAL TRAIL RUNNING FIT

The Pyrox has been designed around activity and gender-specific anatomical lasts to match the ergonomic and biometric needs of trail runners. Thanks to the AST technology, the shoe fits like a glove around the foot, while the forefoot and heel retention offer superior support, enabling high performance on the most technical terrain.

Additional Technologies & Features

SEAMLESS PROTECTION (HYBRID): The breathable engineered mesh upper is reinforced with laminated film only where needed, without adding unnecessary weight, for lightweight protection and increased abrasion resistance.
UPPER WITH LINING SOCK CONSTRUCTION: The breathable lining with sock-like construction is integrated with the upper to provide a snug, wrap-around effect.
MICROFIBER COMFORTABLE TONGUE: The microfiber tongue offers superior comfort and stays in place during running.
GRAVEL DESIGN OUTSOLE: The outsole, with 3.5 mm lugs and high-performance Tecnigrip compound, features a hybrid Gravel design that ensures a smooth and comfortable run on both paved roads and compact dirt trails.
BACKLOOP: The little loop helps the wearer to slide the foot in and out of the shoes effortlessly and can be used to hang them on your backpack or to the climbing harness.
ORTHOLITE® FOOTBED: The anatomically-shaped Ortholite® footbed is highly breathable and provides superior comfort and long-lasting performance.
